The son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Gray of R.R.#5 Dresden, ON, (11th Concession, Chatham Twsp) Kent Co., ON.  The brother of Mrs. Roy Craig of Chatham.

He received his training in Brandon and St. Thomas, ON.   The CDN Aug. 44 reported that he joined the RCAF in August of 1942. He went overseas in May of 1943  and was serving in France. CDN Aug. 44(P).

His parents received a telegram (2 June) that their son had arrived safely in England. DT 6/06/43.

The CDN 17/12/45(P) reported that LAC, Gray had returned to Canada aboard the “Monarch of Bermuda” and he had reported to Lachine, Quebec for “leave documentation” prior to his return to Dresden.

Discharged January 21st, 1946.

Jack H. Gray passed away 6 July, 1986.
