Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown).

Son of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Gray of Queen Street, Chatham., brother of Betty and Frank also serving. Bruce was apparently married in 1942 Mrs. Bruce Gray who was visiting him in London, ON. It was reported that Bruce was departing for Saskatchewan. CDN 3/10/42 Bruce would later transfer and be promoted to Sgt. A6790 with the 30th Reece Regt., then stationed at Dundurn, SK. It was reported that Sergeant Gray was on a Christmas furlough with his wife a “little son” and his family.

Served about one and a half years with the 2nd Kent Regiment.

Bruce went overseas with the 12th Manitoba Dragoons in July of 1943. Sgt. Gray returned from overseas on the ship Mauratania arriving in Halifax New Years night 1946. CDN 11/01/46.  CDN 11/01/46. Next of Kin: Mrs. D. B. Gray of 126 Richmond St., Chatham, ON. CDN 31/12/45 Arrived in Halifax aboard the S.S. Moritania docking 1/01/1946.

Served as an instructor at #12 Mauratania B.T.C. for about a year. Went overseas and served in England, France, Holland and Germany.  CDN 11/01/46. Next of Kin: Mrs. D. B. Gray of 126 Richmond St., Chatham, ON. CDN 31/12/45 Arrived in Halifax aboard the S.S. Mauratania docking 1/01/1946.

Discharged February 5th, 1946.
