Born 27 July, 1918 in Chatham, ON. the son of Arthur and Christina (nee Leitch) Gordon of Louisville, ON. The husband of Leta Margaret (nee Warnock), they were married at Holy Trinity Church, Chatham, ON. After a reception at the brides home from there the new couple left for Hamilton. CDN 4/06/42 & 10/06/42.

Douglas served in England and in Italy as an Instrument mechanic.

Douglas married to Leta Margaret (nee Warnock) they had two children Sue (Lindsay) and son Stuart. Douglas passed away 13 April, 2013 at the age of 94 years and was buried in the Arnold Cemetery, Louisville, Kent Co., ON.
