Born 1920, next of kin: Mae and Parry Gordier of Chatham/ 218 Fraser St., Wallaceburg, ON.       Prior to his enlistment he was employed at the Dominion Glass Co. in Wallaceburg.  CDN 5/05/44   Leroy served in the army.

He arrived overseas in January, 1944 with No.3 C.I.R.U. stationed in England. CDN 19/01/44

The WN 11/05/44 reported that Pte. Gordier had returned from overseas after spending almost six months there he came home for medical reasons.
