He was reported  8/04/15 – Refusing to obey an order and was given 5 days No.1 Field Punishment at Valcartier. He had Assigned Pay to his mother the sum of  $10.00 to go to his mother.

His unit sailed from Quebec aboard the S.S. Laureutic, shipping out 4/10/14.

His mother received the Memorial Cross while living at 730 Tanspeary Ave., Windsor. His father William Henry received the Memorial Scroll 3/12/20 and the Memorial Plaque 27/07/21.

DOD 23/04/15 – son of William Henry and wife Melissa Lizert (formerly Serjt) serving overseas. The London Advertiser noted in memory of the men and women who did not come home noted:-

Mrs. Marion Glasser received a telegram that her son Pte. Henry Reginald Glasser had died of wounds.  Pte. Glasser was 20 years old when he enlisted. He was an electrician with Naughton & McKay of Wyandotte, Michigan and formerly employed in the office of Hiram Walker & Co.
