Born 12/02/1921 in Chatham, ON., Son of Albert Edward and Elizabeth Garner, of 18 Foster St., Chatham, Ontario; husband of Winifred Garner of Fairview, Alberta they also had a daughter. “Billy was very popular with all who knew him”.  

Billy enlisted in 1940  and went overseas in 1941 with the Canadian Scottish. Saw action on D-Day.

KIA. – Date of Death: 01/07/1944, Age: 23.
