Son of William and Rose Garlick of 61 Spencer Ave., Chatham, ON, the brother of P/O John Alfred ‘Jack’.  George was reported serving overseas with the 1st anti-Aircraft Signals section. CDN 7/02/42.

Served with the Kent Regiment for seven years. Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment, (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). George would transfer to the R.C.C of S.

Trained in London, Ontario and Windsor. Proceeded overseas to England and served in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.

Discharged April 26th, 1946.
