The IODE page indicates his rank was Flying Officer but only his NCO service number is recorded. He trained at Camp Bordon and was posted overseas to an RAF squadron as a Navigator flying 13 missions. Have requested his J number if known.

The CDN 1/11/44 reported that M. W. ‘Bill’ Frank had been promoted to the rank of Flying Officer.
Served in Canada four years. Went overseas and spent nine months in England. Promoted to the rank of Flying Officer. Was awarded the C.V.S.M. with Clasp.
Discharged March 1945.
