Private Edgar C. Francis transferred from the 70th. to the 33rd. Battalion going overseas with this unit March 17th, 1916. he proceeded to France and was wounded about July 1917, remaining in Hospital until the middle of December 1917, transferring to the Canadian Army Service Corps, Bramshott. he served through the Somme, Vimy and the cature of Fresnooy, he sailed for Canada, December 1918.
Discharged Janurary 15th 1919 due to demobilisation.
