Private John Fox enlisted at Moraviantown March 12, 1917 in 1st Canadian Infantry Battalion, went to England June 25th 1917 and to France July same year, original Battalion in France 60th C.F.C. He transferred to 1st Canadian Infantry Battalion in the field September 24th Went back to England March 26th 1919 and sailed for Canada April 15th.

Discharged at London April 24th 1919 due to demobilisation.
