Private George N. Fournier was a volunteer in the Norfolk Rifles,Simcoe, Ontario, from the age of seventeen.
Private George N. Fournier transferred from the 21st. Battalion to the Special Service Company, February 1st, 1917, and one month later was again transferred to NO.1 Forestry Company, from which he was discharged in August, 1917. He again volunteered for overseas service, enlisting April 5th, 1918, with the Canadian Engineers, Service Company.
George passed away in 1954 in Chatham, ON.
