Born 20/09/1921 at Erieau, ON., educated in Erieau. The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Foulis. CDN 13/06/44 The brother of Russell, Jack and Donald, he joined them in the fishing industry with one of the owners of the fishing tug Erie-O prior to his enlistment in 1942 with the RCNVR.

22 year old O/S Foulis, was aboard HMCS Sioux, which along with HMCS Algonquin were in the first wave of ships at the Normandy invasion 6/06/44.

Norm trained at Deepbrook and Halifax before going overseas.

Norman was a member of Royal Cdn. Legion Branch 185.
