Private George A. Ford transferred from the 91st. to the 186th. Battalion, going overseas with this unit. After training in England, he was sent June 16th. 1917, with a draft, to reinforce the 18th. Battalion. August 21st. 1917, Private Ford was wounded in the foot and admitted to hospital, but returned to the trenches November 11th. 1917. He there rejoined his old Coy and remained with them till the end, he spent six weeks in Germany with the Army of occupation and returned to Belgium in February 1919. Went to England April 1919 and arrived in Chatham May 24th 1919.
Discharged at Chatham May 24th 1919 Due to demobilisation.
