Bugler Flook trained with the 91st battalion and later trasferred to the 186th Kents going overseas with this unit.
He arrived in England Apr. 8, 1917 and after training at Bramshott Camp, he went to France Aug. 17 transferring to the 18th battalion.
He served until Oct. 11, 1918 when he was instantly killed by shrapnel form an enemy shell while taking part in the military operations in the vicinity of Iwuy.
