Rank Private
Unit # 1st Kent Regiment

Reported being stationed at Niagara-on-the-Lakes. TT 25/12/41. By September, 1943 Joseph was overseas when he was writing to the Tilbury IODE thanking them for the soaks that he received in a parcel. “You asked about the sck situation. Well I have plenty of them for now, as our space for personal kit is very small, but would really appreciate a skull cap to fit underneath my steel helmet. Thanks a million for everything. A parcel from home means a lot to us.” TT16/09/43.
