Bernard was a younger brother to Francis A. Finn, who served in the RCNVR at Prince Rupert, BC during WW2.  Bernard later moved to Michigan and then settled in another State in the United States.  John was another younger brother who did not serve in WW2.  John has a granddaughter, Colleen Sayen, who supplied this information.

Francis was taken as a prisoner of war in the Dieppe War.   He escaped the German prisoner camp only to be captured again. Frank lived the rest of his life in Oakville, Ontario.  He had a wife, Mary, who died young.
