Kenneth served in the CAMC during WWII.

He retired from Navistar International in 1976. Kenneth passed away 1 November, 2010 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, ON. 1 Nov, 2010 is his 96th year. Internment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Merlin, ON.

In April of 1944 Ken wrote a thank you letter to the Merlin Community Club.

29 April, 1944.

Received another lot of cigarettes from you today. Thanks a lot! I don’t think any parcels or cigarettes you have sent me have been lost, as I have received them every month. The parcels are always received in good condition, and I appreciated them very much. It is nice to know that the people at home are thinking of the “boys” over here.
