The son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Finlay of 177 Park Avenue East. The CDN 18/10/44(P) reported that Spr. Finlay was serving in France. William enlisted in 1942. In a letter home he told of enjoying two fried eggs the first he had since arriving in France, After three months in France “ he has no complaints.”
