Private John R. Featherstone left London for overseas with a draft from the W.O.R. July 26th, 1918, embarking August 4th. He was in hospital in England six weeks suffering from Spanish Influenza and Mumps, and began his training October 1st. at Witley Camp, later serving in the Orderly Room.
