Born in Chatham Twsp. the son of Mrs. N. J. Faubert of 132 Richmond st., Chatham, ON. Earnest enlisted in the Canadian Army in July of 1942. He trained at Dundun, Saskatchewan prior to going overseas.

The CDN 10/09/43(P) reported that Tpr. E. J. Faubert had arrived over seas. He had trained with the 30th Recce Regt. before going over.  He served in England, Belgium, Holland and Germany.

Earnest married Doris Maude (nee Honig) in England.

He was discharged from the army in 1945.

Earnest passed away 5/08/1995.
