A married tinsmith living in Chatham at 3 Lacroix St., ON. Member of the 24^th Kent Regt. Attestation: to 91^st Bn. Transferred to 186^th Bn. 28/02/16. Departed Chatham for London as part of 2^nd Contingent.

Orville was serving overseas in the Canadian Tank Corps since February 1944. He had trained at Chatham and Camp Borden. He was 24 years old.

Discharged January 7th, 1946.

The CDN 16/09/46 reported that his wife Hilda W. Ellis arrived in Canada on the Queen Mary making her last repatriation cruise when she arrived in Halifax.

Orville passed away 3 August, 1979.
