Private William B. Elliott trained for sixteen months in London, and three months in Quebec prior to going overseas March 17th, 1916. He crossed to France May 25th, 1916, and after five months service in trenches met with an accident, returning to England October 27th, 1916. He was admitted to Hospital, twelve weeks later going to Epsom Convalescent Hospital, and nine weeks later to Buxton. He was invalided to Canada in May 1917.
Private William B. Elliott received his discharge November 30th, 1917, being medically unfit for further military service caused by the accident.
