DOB; 11/08/1908 at Denholm, Sask. The husband of Rose (nee Steele)2/11/1937, the father of William Charles. Prior to his service he was employed by Srigley Motors in Chatham 1937 and in 1945 to 46. Before, employed as a stationary engineer for the boiler room at the British Leaf Tobacco Co. Then the Campbell’s Soup in Chatham and was at the St. Joseph Hospital for 1966 – 67 before retiring. 

He ended up in charge of 400 men repairing motorcycles.

William enlisted in London, ON. Was not involved in training at BTC-#12.  He trained at the Wolsley Barracks in London, ON. He became a auto mechanic.  Served in England at base workshops in England at Aldershott.

William Henry Elders died in Chatham 11/11/1985 buried in Chatham.
