Private Keith R. Edwards left Chatham March 22nd, 1917, for overseas, with the 186th. Battalion, and after training at Bramshott Camp, proceeded to France June 5th, 1917, with the first draft, transferring to the 18th. Battalion. He was one of ten left, of his platoon, after the Lens engagement, and one of the six left, after the Passchendaele fight. He was then transferred to the Machine Gun Section. March 5th, 1918, he received a gunshot wound in the right leg.
