Was employed at the Canadian Department Stores in Chatham, ON. prior to enlisting in the RCAF. The daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Simon Edwards at the Dufferin Avenue parsonage Chatham.   See Note: LA RUE, Frank.

History After Enlistment: Basic Training at #7 Manning Depot, Rockcliffe, General clerks Course of four weeks at #2 K.T.S. Toronto. Posted to Air force [sic] H.Q. Ottawa May 28th 1943. Posted to #3 Repair Depot B.C. September 1943. November 1943 posted to #3 Bombing and Gunnery School, Manitoba.  The CDN 6/04/44 was stationed at the Bombing & Gunnery School at MacDonald, MB.  LAW Edwards was in the city on an Easter furlough with her parents. The CDN 18/05/44 reported LAW Edwards was spending a furlough with her mother Mrs. LaRue, Sheldon Avenue and friends in Detroit.  February 1945 posted to #2 Air Command, Winnipeg Posted May 1945 to #124 Ferry Squadron, Que. then to Rockcliffe in March 1946. Promoted to the rank of Corporal.
