Edwards was ‘Seriously ill at Moore Barck Hospital – at Shorncliffe 15/03/18 with Pneumonia 20/05/18 from a shell concussion 26/07/17
Reported SOS TO Canada 9/01/19 to 20/01/19. Posted to Cas. Co. and granted furlough with subs allowance to 4/02/19. His last address was : Muirkirk, Kent Co. ON. R.R. #1. Discharge from HMS 11/02/1919. To discharge 11/02/19 at London.
Served in Canada, England and France with the 58th Bn. Discharged 11/02/1919. Reported as having “weak lungs” due to service in France. TADHS, LAC. The result of being gassed at Vimy Ridge with the 18th Bn.
