The son of Mr. Richard and  Mrs. J. E. Edwards of 48 Wilson Ave., Chatham, ON. Brother of David and Richard Francis all serving in the Army. Reported returned to Canada aboard the troopship “Pasteur” landing at Quebec City. CDN. 11/08/45. Reported to be arriving in Chatham after crossing on the S. S. “Louis Pasteur” and being process on leave in London, ON. CDN 13/08/45.

Served one year with Kent Regiment Bugle Band.

John Edward passed away 12 March, 1985.
