Private Edward George Eddington left for overseas March 28th, 1918, with the 56th. Artillery, C.A.C. arriving at Brest, France, April 5th, 1918. He trained at Le Cendre, broke camp July 20th, and went into action at the second Battle of the Marne, August 1st, 1918, – September 10th, 1918, Meuse, – Argonne offensive September 25th, 1918, to November 11th, 1918, when the Armistice was signed. He returned to the United States in January, arriving at Hoboken, N.Y. January 18th, 1919.
Private Edward George Eddington received his discharge January 28th, 1919, due to demobilisation.
