Born in Chatham, ON. The son of Mr. Charles Eberlee of Dresden. Attended McKeough Public School and Chatham Collegiate Institute. The son of Mrs. Charles Eberlee of Lowe St.  Husband of Lois Eberlee and son David and his wife Amy.

Eberlee returned to HMCS Montcalm at Quebec City. PQ. after a week-end with his mother.  CDN 11/07/44.

Charles enlisted in the Navy and it was reported that he had passed his wireless telegraphy course at St. Hyacinth, PQ. It was reported that Ross was returning to St. Hyacinthe, Quebec after a week-end leave. CDN 8/11/44.  He was spending a furlough in February 1945 at his home on Lowe St., Chatham. CDN 7/02/45.

Trained as Wireless Operator at St. Hyacinth Quebec, on the H.M.C.S. Coaticook. Served in North Atlantic Command until VE day. Ross served on RCN frigate in the north Atlantic. He was at sea when WWII came to an end in May 1945.  Volunteered for Pacific Duty, went down through Panama Canal and served on the West Coast.

Discharged January 9th 1946.
