The son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dusten. Sgt. Dusten and his wife of Oshawa were visiting friends in Dresden. The DT 5/08/43 reported that Sgt. Dusten and his wife were visiting his wife’s family.

The DT 13/01/44 reported that Staff-Sgt and his wife were visitors with his family before leaving for RCAF-Ganonque. The CDN 30/06/44 reported that his wife spent a few days in Dresden.  It was reported in the CDN 28/12/44 that Donald was returning to RCAF-Deseronto after spending Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Dusten in Dresden and his brother James.

The DN 26/09/45 reported that he and his wife were visiting his parents 

Discharged October 25th, 1945.

Donald passed away 2 March, 1979.
