Private Edward W. Durrant embarked for overseas within two months of enlistment and was stationed at Smith’s Lawn Camp, Windsor Great Park until he went to France with the 75th Forestry Coy September 23rd 1917 and served continually with them in the transport service until the end of the war, he returned to England an 15th 1919 to Seaford Camp thence to Kimmel park. Returned to Canada in March 1919.
