The son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dunlop of 1038 James St., Wallaceburg.

John had enlisted for active service in 1942. Prior to that he was employed at Dominion Glass Co.

No.10 Canadian General Hospital. The WN 23/03/44 reported that John was on active service.    John had been serving overseas for more than a year. He had returned home as a casualty during active service.  The following month he was reported Wounded In Action. WN  20/04/44.  Using a cane to get around he received a warm welcome. WN 20/04/44.
