Private Bryce W. Dunlop left Canada as Corporal, with the 46th. Battalion, in the Fall of 1915, and after training at Bramshott, reverted to Private in order to cross to France in February, 1916, attached to the 3rd, Machine Gun Company. August 16th, 1917, he suffered a gun-shot wound in the thigh, and was returned to England for Hospital treatment. After convalescence he was sent to Seaford, Sussex, as Physical Training Instructor. Entered R.A.F. as cadet September 1918.
Discharged January 29th 1919 due to demobilisation.
