Trained in Chatham, London, Halifax, Niagara Falls and New Westminster British Columbia. Transferred to the Highland Light Infantry of Canada and was sent overseas, April 28th, 1942. Stationed in England. Fought in battles throughout France, Belgium. Holland and Germany, then sent back to England for one month. Awarded the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Medal and the 1939 to 1945 Star.
Discharged January 30th, 1946.
