Stationed at London, Halifax, Niagara Falls and New Westminster British Columbia. Transferred to the Highland Light Infantry of Canada and went overseas, April 1942. Stationed in England. Landed in France on D-Day and fought in battles throughout France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Awarded the France and Germany Star, The Defence Medal and the C.V.M.
Discharged September 27th, 1945.
