Born 18/05/1923 at Grande Pointe, Kent Co., ON. The son of Paul and Alma (Goodreau) Dubuque of 649 Albert St., Wallaceburg, ON. He was born near Big Point, Dover Twsp, Kent Co. He and his parents moved to Wallaceburg where he attended Our Lady of Help separate school. He was the brother to Adrian and Leo and had four sisters Mary, Irene, Helen and Marguerite all at home.
Henry enlisted in Windsor and did his basic training at BTC # 12 Chatham, ON, then at Ipperwash, North Bay and Halifax, NS. He left for overseas in 1943. He spent several month in England, from there he was sent to North Africa in early autumn 1943. He was later sent to Sicily and then to Italy.
Age: 20, KIA – Date of Death: 24/12/1943, during a bombing raid in Italy.
