Admitted to hospital 5/01/17 for Rheumatism, recovered. he was discharged 13/01/17. His unit the 149th Batt. sailed 28/03/17 but Walter was held back for Medical Board. He was subsequently discharged as “Medically Unfit” 20/03/17.
It was reported that Walter married after his discharge, wife not listed. He received his War service Gratuity of $70.00 for 31 days of military service. A that time he was living at 423 Davis St., Sarnia, ON
