Private Dolsen was a member of the 24th Kent Regiment, Chatham.
He enlisted in Chatham Jan. 2, 1916 with the 91st battalion, later transferring to the 186th battalion with which he left for overseas Mar. 26, 1917.
He proceeded to France Sept. 7 to the 18th battalion; was invalided to England with trench feet contracted during the Battle of Passchendaele Ridge in November and returned to France Sept. 3, 1918 serving as a gunner with a Trench Mortar Battery.
He was killed in action Sept. 13, 1918.
