Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). Douglas would later enlist with the Postal Corps.

Enlisted at Ottawa, ON. 15/05/42  Trained with the 2nd Kent Regiment. Served for two years at Ottawa with the Postal Corps.

Canadian Postal Corps. Enlisted at Ottawa, ON. 15/05/42. In November of 1942 Douglas was reported returning to Huntingdon, PQ. after spending a week-end leave at his parents Mr. and Mrs. C. Depew of Stanley Avenue, Chatham. Charles was discharged 2/02/1944, medically unfit.
