Capt. DeMuy came to Chatham in 1938 and enlisted with the 1st Kent Regt. stationed at Niagara-at-the-Lake. He went overseas in 1940.
Served in Canada four years and two months. Promoted to the rank of Captain, March 1942, and to Acting Major, June 1944.
Discharged October 6th, 1944.
Ted returned to Chatham employed as a district representative with the Prudential Assurance Company.
