Ten years with 24th Kent Regiment.
Sergeant Edward DeHoey went overseas with the 186th. Battalion, and immediately reverted to private, transferring to the 10th. Railway Construction Battalion. He, at once, went to France. Later he was admitted to Hospital for operation after which he rejoined his unit, he was taken to Wimeraaux hospital in July 1918 with flu, but soon joined his unit again and remained with them until February 1919 when they left France. He arrived in Canada March 1919.
Discharged at Toronto due to demobilisation March 21st 1919.
