Complexion: Dark, Hair: Black, Eyes: Brown. Small scar on right forearm from burns on External  & upper third of right forearm. Height: 5’ 6 ¼”, Weight: 130 #, Eyes: Right- 20/20 Left-30/20, light hearing loss. 

Enlisted 20 Mar., 1916 to the 149th Batt. Canada Only. Fit for Forestry Service.

It was reported that Bruce was hospitalized in London, ON. with the Mumps for 21 days. 27 January, 1917 to 16/02/17. Recovered 

His next of kin would be Morgan Thomas B-Coy. Lambtons 149, 23/05/16

Pte. Bruce Day  was Honorable discharged 20 March, 1917 at London, ON. “Medically unfit” – Cause not due to military service. 20/03/1916.
