Trained two years with Prince Albert’s Somersetshire Light Infantry.
Private George W Davey enlisted in the 91st Battalion 1915. Later was sent to form a nucleus for the 186th Battalion at Chatham. Transferred to 122nd Battalion Galt March 21st 1917. Embarked for England June 1917, Crossed to France June 30th 1917. He was promoted to L/CE Corporal while serving in France and returned to England December 1918, and arrived in Canada February 5th 1919.
Discharged March 1st due to demobilisation.
