Two years with Royal Guernsey Light Infantry Battalion.(militia) one year with 24th Kent Regiment.
Private George Davey enlisted in 186th. Battalion April 10th and trained at London, Camp Borden and Chatham, went overseas in March 1917 and trained at Bramshott, went to France September 9th 1917 and joined 1st Can Battalion at Beauvigny. He was wounded May 16th 1918 near Arras and was sent to Norwich Hospital and from there to Cromer, he remained there till October 23rd when he was transferred to Witley thence to Rhyl and Liverpool where he embarked for Canada December 14th 1918 and arrived at Chatham on December 23rd, 1919.
Discharged January 23rd at London due to demobilisation.
