The son of Mrs. L. Custance of St. George St., Chatham, ON. Carl’s date of birth was 1915 in Brantford, ON. It was reported in the CDN 29/06/42 that Carl, his wife Madeline and their daughter Carol Ann returned to RCAF Hagersville, ON after spending a few days at his mother’s home.
Carl trained at Manning Pool, Waterford, St. Thomas and Jarvis. Was made Corporal February 1st, 1943. Served as ground crew man.
Discharged October 2, 1945.
