Private Hugh Curtis trained at Wolseley Barracks, Going overseas December 14th, 1917. After spending a few weeks in hospital work at Bexhill-on-Sea and Shorncliffe, he proceeded to France May 30th, 1918, stationed at the 10th. Canadian Stationary Hospital for ward duty. He remained with this unit until their discharge and final disbandment.
He was also at Étaples during the aerial bombardment of land #7 Canadian General Hospitals.
Discharged at London May 31st, 1919 due to demobilisation.
