Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). The son of Mr. Bruce C. Cumming of Chatham Twsp., Kent Co., ON. The brother of Hugh.

Gerald passed away in 1984.

In August of 1942 Gerald was in the RCAF as a P/O when he was granted a two weeks at his home in Eberts. CDN 10/08/42 [Eberts]

The CDN 9/06/44 reported that Flt. Lieut. Cunning was returning to Newfoundland to resume his duties. He had been spending a 21 day leave with his wife of Lacroix St., Chatham.       

 

Gerald passed away 12 May, 1984 and is buried at Maple Leaf Cemetery – Chatham, ON.
