Cross, Norman Joseph

 

The son of Mrs. Thomas Cross and brother of Leonard. The CDN 24/04/44(P) reported that Norman was serving with the RCAF serving overseas.  Cross had completed his tour operational flights overseas.

Served with the 2nd. Kents for two years.

Trained in Canada for one year. Went overseas and served with the 420th Squadron. Promoted to the rank of Flying Officer. Was awarded his operational Wings.

The CDN 22/06/45 reported that he arrived in Canada and was on his way home after sailing on the S.S. Ile De France.

Discharged September 23, 1946.

Norman passed away 4 February, 1998.
