Born 11/10/1922, the son of Lloyd E. and Florence M. (nee Cleveland), the brother of Charles (Army), John (RCAF), Marie (Thwaites) and Louise (Hewson). The husband of Arlene (nee Hunter) of London, ON. They had a daughter Heather.
An excellent pilot, he was made an instructor stationed at MacDonald, MB., also stationed in Ontario and Alberta. The Merlin Standard reported that he was reported spending a two week leave with his parents. (1944 – dates unknown)
Richard passed away in April, 1999 with interment at Erie Cemetery, Wheatley, ON.
