Of Wallaceburg, ON. The Wallaceburg News reported that he was stationed at Lake Charles, La., USA. The WN 30/09/43 reported that Ira was stationed at the USA Bombing School, Avon Park, Florida. He had spent his furlough in Wallaceburg at the home of his Aunt and Uncle Mr/ and Mrs. William McNeil. He returned to his military duties.
